Transforming electronic imagery into clay, Fieldwork is one idea installed on each floor of this newly renovated Biology building.
Digital imaging and ceramic 3d printing merge. Ceramic relief panels cascade along the corridor walls activated by changing natural light and shadow. Vibrant glazes reveal imagery and flow during the firing.
We make visible scientific practices of observation, experimentation, methodology and modification of hypothesis in the study of Biology. Each artwork site is inspired by instruction on that floor.
The concept of Collection is expressed in our installation. Inquiry from multiple points of view is repeated throughout Fieldwork.
