IN PLAIN SIGHT created six works of art
for a brand new office space at Michigan State University Development.
We wanted each mural to stand on its own, yet it was critial that the room as a whole be considered in that design as well.
We were given the opportunity to make
that vision happen.

Appreciating the clean and modern lines of the architecture, we carefully placed the work to maintain that aesthetic, yet counter balanced the precise simplicity of the architecture
by creating very dense and complex imagery.

Opposite the bar area,
IN PLAIN SIGHT created another mural. It measures over 3.5 ft wide by 3.5 ft. high.
We wanted the piece to feel a part of the architecture, so the tiles span edge to edge the width of the wall.

Along the hallway to the secondary entrance , we ran a thin line of thick glass tiles- a simple line. It turns the corner and then terminates just as that point enters the main space of the Cafe. |
